Quality over Quantity

Quality over quantity.

That phrase could pretty much be my blog post. It says it all right there.

From the time we enter kindergarten until we finally say our goodbyes in highschool, it seems like the status quo is to have as many friends as possible; to be part of the “cool” crowd. Fair…I mean, it’s fun to be liked. In fact, it’s GREAT to be liked! We all CRAVE it. That’s why we conform to the majority group because we want approval. It’s hard to be yourself in those years of life…

It is so easy to believe that having a million friends is valuable. That is because it makes US feel valuable. Again, we like being liked.

But I can tell you that when you find TRUE friends, you won’t need a million! You are filled by one!

These are the friends that have seen the good, bad and the ugly.

…who understand your humour.

…that you share everything with- no story untold.

…who fight fire with you.

…that lift you up and support you.

…who send you letters in the mail.

And these are just a few!

Friendship, like any relationship, requires work from both parties. However, you know you have true friendship when that work doesn’t actually FEEL like work!

If you find yourself lonely today, pray for divine connections! I can testify that God will send the right person/people your way 🙂

People need people.

And I can’t go without mentioning that the best friend you could ever ask for is available to you 24/7. He is everything on the list above, and so much more! He is the way, the truth and the life! You won’t regret letting him into your circle ❤
